Privacy Policy (English)
Soontan ("the app") is an iOS app operated by an individual developer. This policy explains what information the app processes and how. The short version: your health records never leave your device, the app has no accounts, and we store nothing about you on our servers.

a. Stored only on your device (never transmitted)
- Meal records: food names, estimated nutrition values, meal times, pre/post-meal blood glucose, memos, and meal photos
- Profile information you optionally enter
- Service state: daily unlock date (rewarded ad), first launch date
All of the above is stored solely on your device. The app requires no account or sign-up and does not transmit this information to any server. Because blood glucose and meal records stay on-device, we do not process any health data on our servers.
b. Transiently processed on our server for nutrition estimation
- What is sent: only the ingredient names and amounts (grams) you enter
- Purpose: AI-based nutrition estimation
- Path: app → our server (Supabase, Tokyo, Japan) → AI processing (OpenAI, USA)
- Storage: not stored after the estimate is returned. Minimal error logs may be kept transiently for service reliability.
- This transmission contains no name, contact details, identifiers, or health records.
